The Easiest Pizza Balls

These are the easiest, yummiest snacks ever. You only need a few ingredients.  Which you might already have in your kitchen.  I did. All you need is a can of Pillsbury biscuits, pepperoni slices, sliced cheese, one egg, garlic and Italian seasonings.  And you are 25 minutes away from heaven.

Flatten out biscuits with hands onto wax paper.  Top with cooked pepperoni and sliced cheese.
Once all are topped.  Fold over sides to close the dough together into small balls.
Put dough balls fold side down onto a greased baking dish.

Top with beaten egg and Italian seasoning and garlic to taste.

Bake uncovered at 425 degrees for 12-15 minutes.

Enjoy!

Ingredients:
Cooked Pepperoni Slices
Sliced cheese (any kind you like, I used deli provolone.)
one egg
1/2 tsp of garlic
1/2 tsp of Italian Seasonings
Pizza Sauce or Ranch for dipping.

Cold Winter Day Beef Stew

Hello Comfort Food! It can get pretty cold living in New England, why not cuddle up with a delicious bowl of beef stew? The simple, but yummy recipe is sure to warm you up and can be made in the crock-pot! Even Better!

Let's get started.

Before cooking the meat, In your crock pot, you should already have water, your cut up veggies, spices and condiments. Mix them all together on high heat.

Take your stew meat, flour, garlic and onion and mix in a ziploc bag, shake to coat meat evenly.
On medium heat, add oil and gravy master to skillet. Then add the coated meat to skillet and brown each side of meat. Set aside. Do not cook all the way through.
With the remaining oil and gravy master in pan, add the red wine and beef bouillon until it is dissolved.

Transfer your liquid to the crock pot. Covering your veggies. Stir mixture.
Add your beef on top of veggies.
Cover for 2 hours on HIGH.
Check your veggies after 2 hours.

Sauce will be thin, you can thicken the sauce with 1/2 cup of flour.
To do this, take out 1 cup of liquid from the stew and put into a bowl and mix in the flour until smooth.
Add back into the stew and stir.

Keep lid on Crockpot. Do not keep checking on stew. I know, I know, you want to check on it, I assure you, it will be better left alone. :) So throw on chick flick and let your stew work its' magic on its' own.

Red Velvet Milky Way Chocolate Chip Cookies

Red Velvet Milky Way/Chocolate Chip Cookies.  Yes. Please.

After mixing this dough, I have realized. I bake a lot. I mix a lot. Jenny needs a mixah! These cookies are great mix of chewy middles, and crunchy edges.  They did not last very long.  I brought most to work and left them in the kitchen, and they were gone before I could walk back to desk!

What you need to do:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. I used a bare cookie sheet for these cookies.  No parchment paper needed.
Place cake mix, butter, egg and oil into a large mixing bowl. Stir to combine. (This is where a mixah! would come in handy.

Cut up the frozen Milky Way bars into chunks and stir into dough along with the chocolate chips. ( Freezing them for a few minutes, makes them easier to cut up.)

Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheet placing about 1 inch apart. Press each cookie down almost flat about 1/2 inch thick. Bake for 11-13 minutes, until baked through. Let cool on baking sheet for 10 minutes before transferring to cooling rack.  Enjoy!

Ingredients
1 Box Red Velvet Cake Mix - 18 ounce mix
1 stick of unsalted butter, softened
2 large eggs
2 1/2 tablespoons canola or vegetable oil
4 Full size Milky Way Bars -  Frozen and chopped.
1 1/2 cups mini chocolate chips - (I used Dark Chocolate)

Makes 24-36 cookies depending on how large you make em'. I like mine oversized!
